Online business inventory problems, plz help

Ive been looking into possibly starting a small scale internet based store where i can sell items, after much of my own investigating ive turned up no information as to how somone would obtain inventory for such a store, (inventory in the form of computer software) is there anyoen who can point me the right direction or share your own methods if you are farmilar with this type of thing. Ive seen a few "wholesale" bussiness on the net but most offer a wide rang of either unreliable or items that unrelated to eachother. How to large corporations get a large varriety of stock from various diffrent manufactuers at a price they can resell adn make a profit at?

You're looking for information on "product sourcing" look for 3rd party websites that list and can recommend distributors. In general looking for terms like wholesale software, will just result in junk results.

Your entering an incredibly saturated market Garabrant. Do you have any type of niche in mind for your store?

Its all about volumn if you are going to resell products like the big boys do you have to be prepared to buy in a large enough volumn to recieve a good discount.

Well....what did you decide to do with your site? Did you use a wholesale product source or did you decide to table the business for now?

If you don't want to deal with order fulfillment do drop shipping...thin margins though.

If you know what you want to sell, want to buy inventory and bring it into the states definately look to source in China and consider outsourcing your order fulfillment which can be a hassle.
