I am in the early stages of this right now. When I have some solid numbers I will start a new thread.

    Have a great day,

I think it really depends on your market etc. We had an interesting discussion that you might find useful.

working on a blog now. Signed up with some social sites at well.

say why don't we make a list of fellow members blogs and share feeds from one another s blog or wordpress site. Build a network to help one another out with rss feeds.

another idea how about even a central website to distribute n promote rss feeds. Personally I'd be happy to.

Also feel free to pm me.

Looking forward to some feed back

As much as some people might dismiss the power of networking/social networks, it really is a viable tool. Don't knock it till you try it! With enough elbow grease, it's an amazing tool.

Elbow grease is right. It can be really effective, but in order for users to see your bulletin board posts, I'm pretty sure they have to be your friends. So, once you get connected, it is a pretty efficient and non-obtrusive way to communicate.

We used to mass spam people, which works for a while but then your profile eventually gets taken down. Not good

Not to mention your company loses every last shred of credibility...

If the concerned company has nothing to lose... even sending spam is senseless for increasing sales (except you are selling Viagra ;-)
