    E-Commerce online training courses

I wonder if someone can recommend me a good e-commerce online training course. Something that describes the following aspects of e-commerce:
    - E-Commerce basics and terms
    - Merchant accounts and payment gateways
    - Accounting and taxes
    - Hosting and e-commerce software and tools
    - Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization
    - Shipping

I saw descriptions of several courses and it appears as the most of them were lame. Did anyone complete really useful courses?

Whether or not you choose to go with Yahoo Stores, the following online course (and 200 pg Manual that you get with it) are, in my opinion, excellent resources/training for getting started in eCommerce .... especially for the beginner.

    http://www.yahoo-store-builder.com/

As an FYI - It's how the woman who started www.myweddingfavors.com got started .... and now she is pulling in in excess of $350K per month in profits.

P.S. (No, I am not an affiliate of this website and I am not making any money off of referrals .... although I probably should sign up, huh?)

Did you try this training yourself? It appears as only 33% of the course are related to e-commerce and 66% are related to "Yahoo! Store". I'm afraid it is not the one that I'm looking for... I need a guide to e-commerce, not to "Yahoo! Store"

Yahoo Store IS eCommerce, my friend.

Ultimately, I am not going to use it, but the concepts are essentially the same.

In addition to this website (eCommerce-guide.com), here is another resource for you --> http://www.practicalecommerce.com/

There is much information to be read and absorbed.

    Hi Michael
The course in my signature file does talk sense. It deals with pre-selling and selling as two different concepts.

As far as I understand Yahoo! Store is hosted software that makes it possible to create a web shop. Since my webmaster recommended me X-Cart (by the way, did anyone try this software?) I guess the 66% of the article are useless for me.

I need something that describes common aspects of e-business:
    - basic terms and concepts
    - choosing a hosting company
    - taking online payments
    - accounting and taxes
    - shipping
    - search engine optimization and marketing

Thank you. But I'm looking for a course that was written by someone who already read all the information and already absorbed it
