    Quickbooks Limitations

    Hi Everyone,
We are currently using Quickbooks Pro 2004. We would like to track salesmen commissions. Further, when we make a sale on installment basis, the invoice amount is shown as receivable immediately, whereas it should show the installment amounts as and when they become due.

Is there a way to overcome the above in QB?
Or do we need to migrate to another accounting package? In such a case, may I have some suggestions?

We are a CAD/CAM software company doing direct sales as well as sales through dealers. Our revenues are in the range $ 1.5 million. We have one office and a staff of 8. Some of our staff work out of home offices in other states.

    Thanks.

Image Accounting can give you more flexibility

I am working with a client now using Image Accounting Premier and they are just coming from Quickbooks. It is very reasonably priced and has an import wizard from Quickbooks, but you can do custom changes in MS Access so it is pretty simple to use. Built-in MS Access features help.

You may want to also look at Adept Suite. It also supports commissions and is $495 for unlimited users. adeptsuite.com

If you need to connect those users together over the internet checkout interprise suite. interprisesuite.com
