First e-commerce step
I'm eyeing sellvia mall to kickstart my digital product store but wanna hear real talk before jumping in. Many people also mention shopify like a trustworthy platform. Super interested in how it handles sales scaling, product delivery, and solo management. Anyone here running or tried it? Any experience pros/cons of both? How easy was setup and ongoing use? Any gotchas with payouts or support? Worth it for a beginner solopreneur?

I've used both sellvia mall and shopify and honestly they're pretty different vibes especially if you're a solo store owner just starting out.
Sellvia mall feels way lighter and quicker for digital products. Setup's simple since everythin stays in their ecosystem. Perfect for beginners who don't wanna deal with themes, apps, or complicated workflows. Also daily payouts and actual help when stuff breaks. I just threw up a few digital products and started seeing sales without much hassle.
Shopify is more flexible and pro-level but it comes with way more work on your end. You gotta build the store, pick themes, add apps for digital downloads, handle design/hosting/integrations yourself.
As a fresh solopreneur I'd start with sellvia to test the waters with a few digital products and get comfy selling solo then maybe jump to Shopify (or run both as I do) once you know what you want. What do you think?
