    Question Affordable Alternative to NetSuite?

    Hello,

I am starting to build my ecommerce site and wanted robust backend administration so that I can focus on driving sales. I've reviewed various software and realized that NetSuite meets all my objectives, particularly the sales (top sales by xxx), finance (real-time profitability) and marketing management areas (marketing automation, campaign mgt, campaign ROI). However, I realized that it would cost an arm and leg for a small business. The licensing, implementation and integration costs are high.

    Can anyone suggest affordable alternatives?

    Thanks a bunch.

Can't answer your question but here is my dilemma too

I can't answer your question but here is my dilemma similar to yours - I know netSuite meets my needs but read some horrible stories about them - :

I am searching for an affordable hosted multilingual shopping system. My requirements are: one database, feeding multiple websites; all websites are multilingual -- the shopping interface language changes with one click of the mouse -- needs a few languages implemented like yesAsia.com. Other non-essential but important features are Google feeds etc.

I don't want to lease servers and maintain the applications. I want a hosted turn-key solution. Probabaly one of the SAAS vendors?

I would like your opinion. Thanks!

    Hi there,
we looked at a number of software packages, including Netsuite, to do our sales, job costing CRM and accounting, but most were either too expensive (Netsuite), or were not web based (we need all of our employees to have access). Recently (since April) we have been using an online system www.salesorder.com, on beta trial - although not as rich in functionality, in terms of ease of use/cost it is very impressive - if you can get on the beat program try it, alternatively I believe it will be generally available in August...

    Regards,

    Hi,

There is an alternative to netsuite that is called JCURVE, I know that its available in Australia. It is actually netsuite but priced lower for smaller customers.

Netsuite can be expensive but if you do use it i suggest check out my website, its got some cool hints and tips on there. fastbusinesscomputing.com.au

    Hi,

I believe our software would be suitable for your business from what you have described. It's called brightpearl.com. It is a fully integrated business management system including real-time accounting, crm, sales order management, purchasing, marketing, and stock control which all integrates with ecommerce, point of sale and eBay too.

It's a SaaS product too which means you would not need to pay out for a server, annual licence or implementation. Plus you get the benefit of being able to access your data when ever and where ever is convenient for you, all you need is an internet browser and you are able to get access to all your business data.

We offer a 30 day, no commitment free trial so you can try before you buy.
