Yes, the Google search engine can open up a lot of these possibilities for you if you are in need of more information sets in the online world.

I learned a lot from this thread, but still I'm a bit confused about it. I want to re-write or edit the article before submitting it to avoid being flagged as duplicate. Most people tells me to use some article spinning software, but I don't want to because the outcome or the result are all gibberish and non-sense... So there.

Google does not favour duplicate content, therefore it is essential to post genuine content in order to get backlinks and traffic to your website.

As far as Google is concerned, "punishable" duplicate content is not what most people think it is. Can you give some examples of what Google considers duplicate content worthy of punishment?

ya the duplicate content issues to the article submission because the Google search engine should not allow duplicate content as well Google panda algorithm changes the main motive to remove the duplicate content sites & low quality content ....
-
Kalvin, duplicate, even multiple instances of an article are not necessarily considered "duplicate content" where Google is concerned ... unless Google interprets the duplication as an attempt to manipulate PR or SERPs. SImply having an article appear on multiple sites is not necessarily an attemmpt to manipulate either one.
Have you read, and do you completely understand this?

completely wrong misunderstanding of algorithms, all article directories and Web directories press submission sites comes under the category of FFA - Free For All, here we can post any content if you have a copyrights in your hand. if you think that you not able to promote your web site, because when you doing social bookmarking you cant give unique content else description. article submission campaign you can proceed with 1 article into many directories.

If you write a good article, then try to get it repeated everywhere. As The Old Sarge says, Google won't penalise you. And... errr... you weren't just writing for SEO, were you? Didn't you want people to actually read what you wrote?

However always try to keep away from submitting duplicate articles on multiple article submission directories. Try article spinning before submitting an article on multiple sites.

It would be useful for you if are submitting the same articles on 10 different sites because after the update of google panda. Google is considering duplicate content as massive spamming.

You need to consider this: the purpose of Google is to index your content and decide it's value, penalization is just a method to control abuses. These penalizations will most likely will be avoided if you follow their guidelines. Now about article submissions: many people already said that it's pointless to post the same article to multiple article sites, not because of penalization, but because it won't benefit you more. So the point is, why bother and put effort in posting the same thing to 10 places when you'll get credit only for one? Think about it, when you read a news for the first time it is interesting, when you find it the second time, the third time and so on, on other sites you won't read it, because it won't hold value for you and there is nothing new for you.
This might seem like a plain explanation, but sometimes common sense can help with your online marketing efforts, at least in what to avoid.

Common sense would tell me that, if an article was widely re-published, then it probably had great value. A viewer might not read the same article hundreds of times, but, if he knows that hundreds of editors have chosen to re-publish it, he will perceive the article as having great authority. So a well programmed search engine might do the same. That's common sense.

Also, Chris, the purpose of Google is to provide lists of web sites to Internet searchers. Hopefully, those sites will be what the searchers are looking for ... or at least very relevant to what they're looking for.
Don't confuse the purpose with the means.

certainly it will be consider as a duplicate content. its better if you use sin version of your article. But its better if you could use original content all time. it would give you better success rate.
