How to get traffic to my site

On clicking the link a message was displayed indicating to enter the code. If the same is followed then how could gathering traffic from google be helpful since google customers usually do not have a code?

I’m not sure if the present methods are working. I would like to have your advice on efficient methods of driving in traffic for my website.

there are many, some of the best I use for my clients are:

blog posting
forum posting
contacting site's owners directly and offer them content in exchange to have a few of my links on the content

Keep in mind that you do not just want to spend your time just to get links, focus on getting traffic to your site too
