creating your own online store: Bigcommerce / IzzoNet / Volusion

    Hi all

I am looking at starting up a retail site for cameras.

Have looked at the site comments re ecommerce site and the above look interesting - Bigcommerce / IzzoNet / Volusion

I dont want to be employing any additional designer at the start - a plug and play solution is what I am after as I have limited web experience.

Anyone have any views on the above solutions - pros and cons.

    Many thanks guys

I don't know about Bigcommerce or IzzoNet. But I can tell you that Volusion is a very intuitive product. I had NO programming or designing experience when I started with them and the site was quite easy to use and set up. The SMI link below is done with Volusion.

I know this 3 and tested them all but registered to izzonet

They all pretty much the same as the biggest difference I see is having the ability working automatically with dropshippers that I see that only izzonet have.

    Hi David

I'm working with Bigcommerce and from your post I went to try them both.
I have a programing experience and I tell you, you don't need any knowledge of programing with Izzonet
They did a very good job

    Thanks Henry,

I heard your advise and went with Izzonet and very happy with that as it was so easy setting up the store, and also the supplier integration they have - I did'nt evan know it exists..I'm trying now their shopping engines feeds feature, so far uploaded my products to Ebay and Amazon. Do you know when will they release the Ebay and Craigslist integration? I realy wanna get these 2 features..

DavidKelly, you have two different IP addresses and one of them is the same as Danny63 and Henrycapry.

Methinks you have multiple accounts. Any of the three of you care to comment?

Compare bigcommerce with volusion, I recommend bigcommerce since volusion charge extra for its bandwidth. Not familiar with IzzoNet.

using volution is a good option but if u try yourself to build your ecommerce site that might led you in a mess, better consult some experts.

Maybe they live in the same house or use the same connection. I prefer IzzoNet because its very easy to use and the end product looks great.
