What do you guys think of my fashion clothing site ?

Hello, I am new here and I am glad to find such a helpful place.

I recently just started this ecommerce website selling woman's fashion clothing.

I would love to get some opinion on it. What do you guys think ?

Any help are greatly appreciated. Thanks !

I like the look of the site and it responds well. The only issue I can see is that you have no content on the sight. Yes you have a lot of wonderful photos - but where is the information about the product itself? The best way to get good SERP's is to have Keyword Rich content on your site. You can do this on the front page, the category pages and most importantly the product page itself. Without this information the search engines will have a hard time finding you.

Thank you, those are great ideas.
I just added a few info to the product page.
Hope it will help, since the website isn't doing very good right now.
Actually, it had over 1000 unique IP viewers but zero sales.
I would love to know why.

Why the landing page with all the little hearts? It seems to me that the fewer clicks to get to your products the better

JEccles is right about the lack of content and you have no Meta data either. This wouldn't matter if you had some content that the SE's could index.

Hey did you try to order something from your site just to see if the site had any glitches or problems in it. I was also wondering if you used Zen? Another question if you found a different nitch clothing is really hard to sell unless you have somoething unique think of something that you need not want, Well i have to go to work now if you could get back to me that would be great i hope this helps you have you have a good day

    1. I did the typical google/yahoo/facebook ads for my website.
    2. My experience ... well make sure everything works first before going live lol
    3. Yeah I tried to order stuff from my website and everything seems to be working just fine. And I didn't use Zen, I built my own shopping cart.
    4. As for which type of clothing sells better ... I would need more sales before I could answer that question.

    Goodluck !

The shopping is good, looks like a canned program

You need help on the store window. The landing page, currently, the promotion is too large in size, and takes up too much space. store windows are hard to plan and build. Best to copy a proven template.

There is much work to be done so you can generate some sales, and build trust with the customer.

Site looks good and as said by many before it lacks content..
Apart from this you also need to ensure that all the images on your site are named appropriately,, mostly including one of your keywords,
I guess you know Google is blind but can read,, It cannot interpret the images on its own but uses their name to know what the image is all about..

Oh I didn't know google can read image names as well. I guess I need to rework on that. lol

Yeah I admit I need more work on the landing page. The promotion on the front page is kind of large. That is because most of the other popular fashion sites are like that too. I figure if everyone are doing it, it should be fine ?

My site isn't generating much sale at all though. So I could be wrong.

    Check out this site

    http://www.macys.com/

Look at the title text at the top of the browser window. See how descriptive it is.

Now look at the window display, it's about 800x400, that's a good enough size to fill a space that can been seen on most monitors. Each slide show is a department in the store, like the entrance or portal to each department in the store.

Each one of your pages needs to update the title text with enough information so that bots can read it.

Same with your product descriptions, there's not enough information to figure out what your site is just based on reading text.

If your selling non-brand clothing, then you need to build up the brand name, and emphasize the store name which carries unique clothing. Then the brand is the store, which has to have a theme or specialty.

Shopping is an experience, not a vending machine where you press E2 for the item you want.

If your a programmer, then you completely missed the boat on marketing. If you setup a canned program, then the program completely missed the boat on marketing.

If I sounded hash or impolite, I apologize for it. Just my mood for this afternoon. I give you accolades for seeking a answer rather than waiting a year to figure it out.

I don't know if it was harsh or not but it was certainly well thought out and accurate.

No you're not hash or impolite, in face I thank you for telling me what's wrong with my site.

I guess setting up a website to sell non-branded clothing is harder than I thought.

I'll give you a head start, and a plan to focus on.

Read my blog article first. It will give you insight as to how to market anything

    http://www.ice5commerce.com/EN-US/Bl...ar/jhFHbn/utf8

Then take a look at the first image of the stores window. See how exciting it is, it's one of the best windows I've seen. Banana Republic is clever with there real life windows that is a seen out of the jungle, with a jeep and everything.

Banana Republic is non branded clothing in which they sew on a tag that says Banana Republic.

This is top shelf knowledge, and it's how the major players are doing it both online and with retail stores.

Get back to me in a couple of months and let's see what you came up with.

    Just do it!

In all do respect, your site does have alot of very common mistakes. One should never put up an e-Commerce site until it is complete and has content on every page. I see above where you said you have added a few but please understand that with web sites, it's all or nothing until you go live. Dead links or links that have no content will harm your site for a long time. Well after you put your content on there so the notion that it will just get better and better isn't exactly true. I mean it will get better but it will be much slower than had you waited until all of your content is up before you went live. Unique Content is key. I would recommend paying and SEO specialist to review your site with you. You definitely need more content on every page especially the home page and a good rule of thumb for conversions is to display product on the home page as well so the products are right there. compare your sites to others as well. check out www.yagaclothing.com and see the differences between a successful clothing online retailer and your site. Your on the right track and I commend you on reaching out to make your site better
