I am in agreement entirely. The significance of PR is a fairy tale generate by web masters wearisome to sell back associations. Site content is sovereign and will be for a long moment in time to come.

For me PR in actuality doesn't material as far as I have a fine quality amount of interchange to my site....ultimately we just want interchange right? So am least concerned regarding that.

But what's your opinion for websites that are PR 1 and they has thousands of daily visitors to PR 4 websites with hundreds of daily visitors?

It serves as evidence that PR is nothing more than a vanity rating. PR does not generate traffic of any significance nor does it contribute much at all to a site's SERPs. THere are [lenty of PR 7, 8 and 9 sites that don't appear anywhere near the top of SERPs for their main keywords. There are also tons of sites sitting at #1 in the SERPs but have a PR less than 3 ... some even a zero.

PageRank from Google has helped me making my online business a big hit. I have gained better position because of PR. It is a must.

From Google Webmaster Tools
PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual page's value. In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. But, Google looks at more than the sheer volume of votes, or links a page receives; it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by pages that are themselves 'important' weigh more heavily and help to make other pages 'important.
