    Question What would be the cheapest way for me to accept credit cards?

    I am a poor college student just trying certain experiments. I was wondering what is the cheapest way to accept credit cards online for my ecommerce store? Any of you guys had any experience with this? Thnakjs

    That depends on:

    1) what country you are in?
    2) what is your credit like?
    3) what product are you selling?

    Probably Pay Pal would be the best for you.

    How about PayPal?

    How about PayPal? I think this is one of the most reliable way for processing credit card payments for your ecommerce store. At least I find PayPal to be preferably secure and reliable.

    PayPal and Google CheckOut. They both operate the same way, give them a checking account, wait for 2 small deposits, enter them back into the set up process and you're set. Takes about 3 days.

    PayPal is the best option for you. Some people don't like PayPal for various reasons, but for your situation, their the best option IMHO.

    I don't know which is the cheapest way to accept credit cards for your ecommerce store, i guess you don't know till you try it yourself. I heard PayPal offers pretty good services although i don't know just how much it would cost you since i have never tried myself. It can't be that much though, i am sure even a poor student like you would afford it.
