    customers trust..

    Hello,
    I'm about to start a new online business for selling my products , everything is ready including the paypal / google checkout paying methods.

    but i have a question, how can customers trust me? i mean lets say they picked an item and they paid me using credit card (in paypal form), how can they be sure that i'm gonna send them the item?

    There are many things you can do to convey trust. A phone number, preferably an 800 number, a site certificate (this is mandatory), an address for your store all convey trust. A merchant account where you accept credit cards (not Pay Pal or Google) also says that you have passed certain tests and have credibility.

    Customer Support

    I think it is very important to have good customer support too. You could add Phone, Chat and Email support for your customers.

    I have an ecommerce jewelry store and I had a customer ask me this question yesterday. What I told them is that when you buy with a credit card company you are protected by your credit card company against fraud. If you buy a piece of jewelry from me that I say is 14k gold, it has to be or it's fraud and you'll be able to get your money back from your credit card company.

    A recent survey found that 81% of customers don't trust small online business.
    i.e. no trust no survival. Getting customers trust is difficult but not impossible.

    Here are some tips to get trust your online customers.

    - Branding
    - Make yourself appear larger
    - Beautiful and effective web design
    - Reputation (easily find on Google etc.)
    - Testimonials / Effective Profile
    - Humanize your business

    Does your website has a click to call service? This is an icon embeded usually in websites where in when your readers click it, they are directed to your phone line. Having a conversation with them will at least assure your customers that you are serious with your business.

    Communication is the key to building trust with your customers and clients. Make it a point to contact them regularly to get feedback and address concerns.

    It is indeed important to maintain trust and harmonous relationship with clients since this can increase response rate and further contribute in generating additional sales.

    First prepare one strategy for customer and think about how to convey our customer. There are many way to convey customer and ready to buy our products.
