    Offline advertising

Do you advertise your site offline or do you only rely on online advertising?
There are a lot of sites that gives out flyers or evn free t-shirts with their links on it.
    Do you use this method?

Magnetic signs on our vehicles, decorative window stickers on some vehicles, signatures on e-mail, business cards, free coffee mugs to loyal customers, pens, pencils, note pads ... anything inexpensive and easily given away at trade fairs and so on.

A few times a year we donate items to worthy causes such as fund raisers and auctions. We always make sure the items are clearly marked with our Web address and logo, and sometimes a business card discretely inserted in the package. Fliers would be our last method. We HATE fliers ourselves and will never resort to them. Most print ads in newspapers/periodicals are cost prohibitive for our business.

We have our website(s) printed on all of our advertising. This includes the give-aways we take to tradeshows, magazine ads, business cards, letterhead etc.... I even have it in my e-mail signature.

I think offline advertising might only work for local business, IMO.
There are many channels for us to advertise our biz online like social media, free ads, classified sites.

    Have a nice day,

Many people jump into online business enterprises and neglect real-world or offline advertising opportunities to grow their operations.A good mix of offline ads with your online campaign is good strategic planning. It helps present your message and even reinforce it for those who have already spotted your online presence.

There are three offline advertising mediums worth investing in to drive people to your site. Print, television and radio ads are fairly inexpensive and have the power to promote your dot com presence effectively.

Online advertising is considered as one good tool in promoting services and products. But there are other ways where you can increase response rate from customers or clients; toll free number or toll free vanity number for instance are proven to be very effective in advertising a business, that's why it has gained huge patronage from small and large businesses. The numbers are very budget friendly too.

Online promotion has one very big advantage over offline promotion and that is interactivity. In online promotion you can have interactive ads that behave differently based on visitor's behavior. Popular thing in online advertising is
making ads like mini home pages. Yahoo! use that technique for advertising their services.

Offline advertising is also effective for a website.
But online advertising has many many brighter aspects.
