how can i programatically get product listings (like a catalog of products) along with all the related information and metadata (e.g. category, classification, manufacturer, sku, technical specifications).

for instance, deal sites such as edealinfo have rich product information although they don't sell the goods themselves. how can i get that rich information myself?
