Exclamation Major C/C Processing Problem - Advice Needed ASAP

OMG, I'm hoping someone on here can help me. I've got a MESS on my hands & I'm not sure what to do about it (if anything can even be done).

I've got an online store that's been up & running for almost 6 years now. I've used a merchant account & PayPal during that time & everything has been fantastic. 1000s of happy customers & the business keeps growing every year. In all this time I've (probably) never had more than 5-6 c/c chargebacks.

Well, in early September I got sick & couldn't work for about 2 weeks (I'm the only one that runs my business). Well, when I got back I had complaint after complaint... Soon after the chargebacks starting rolling in...so many now I've lost count. Needless to say my c/c processor cancelled my account & PayPal has me on hold until I pay them the $ I owe them.

"Luckily" I had a 2nd merchant account that I've had for 2-3 years that I've never used. I just signed up for it one day since the terms were so good & decided I'd have it in case I ever needed to switch companies in a hurry (like if the 1st one was down, out of business, etc). I switched over to that one & have been using it the past 2 weeks. Everything has been fine...until yesterday.

It seems the new company (Moneris) uses 1st National to process their c/c transactions...& 1st National is the company that cancelled me! Now they've turned me off!

I have 2 questions that I'm hoping someone can help me with.

My store (Yahoo) HAS to use the First Data Merchant Services (FDMS) Nashville platform. I have NO clue what that is, but is First Data the same as 1st National?? ...meaning that if they're connected I'm never going to be able to use c/c's again until I get this mess straightened out?? I have all intentions of paying them back eventually, but there's no way I can if my store is down!

Also, does anyone have any other suggestions or advice about using a processor in the meantime??

I'm so stressed out I'm about to have a heart attack. I woke up on "Black Friday" expecting a ton of orders only to see NONE & called Yahoo and they dropped this bomb on me.

    Can anyone help??? Thanks!

    Brandon

    Brandon,

I am sorry to hear of your problems although I know nothing about the services you were using, I can recommend Authorize.Net because I have used them for years without a glitch. You'd have to open an account through a third party and i use eonlinedata.

I hope your issue resolves itself in short order.

I am Indeed sorry to hear that your Black Friday was so traumatic. EC Suite could be your answer. Can you tell me a little more about your business? What kind of products and services do you offer? Can you provide me with your website url? Where are you located, geographically? If you have been doing this for six (6) years, then you are no stranger to online processing. I applaud your track record and hopefully, we can be the solution that you need to get back on track during the holidays.
