Looking for a Live Chat Solution

Does anyone know of a Live Chat solution for a CRE Loaded website? I just set up CRE Messenger to use and found out that it is not longer active. ChatStat was suggested to me by CRE but we are looking for a lower priced solution if possible. It would probably not be used 24/7 and just at times like the holiday season and certain times of the days but I want an option for customers to be able to select to Chat and for it to alert someone on our end that a customer is requesting chat. We don't need any of the fancy bells and whistles.

We've covered LivePerson, LiveChat Software, BoldChat, LivePerson, and eStara Click-to-Chat on EcommerceGuide.com. They all have a package or plan that fits a SMB's budget. I know BoldChat seems quite popular and I do see it being used on a vast number of sites. Perhaps those vendor names will give you a good start to finding the right live chat solution for your site.

If you are just looking for an "occasional" chat function, have you considered using an instant messenger application? For example Wimzi offers an AIM-compatible site chat. You add basic code on your site and run the AOL Instant Messenger client. When someone loads your Web site and uses the chat you are notified via your instant messenger client. Not sure how customizable these solutions are, but for occasional chat they might work well (and there are many free Web-based clients out there for all messenger platforms).

    Cheers!

Great comparison of the major vendors: http://live-chat-support-software-re...enreviews.com/

They did a video review on the first place company as well.

    LivePerson

We have been using LivePerson and having nothing but great things to say. Many of our clients also use it on their online stores. Worth checking out - http://solutions.liveperson.com/

I have www.live247support.com taking care of my customer service and I'm very much satisfied by the service they've provided me so far. I'm getting quick ROI in less time than I expected!

They all have a packet or plan that fits a SMB's budget. I know BoldChat seems quite so popular and I do see it being expended on a vast number of sites.

You may host your site at any free site and use some free scripts to program you chatting software. What a idea?

Today live chat solution has become mandatory for any online business because users find it more trustworthy with human contact, makes your customers feel comfortable and gives presence on your website that enhances the online customer service experience.

Hi. You can take a look at Comm100 Live Chat Software. It is free and easy to use. It can generate some moderate alert when customer is requesting chat.
