    Thanks Jelessy.

You have an excellent website too. If I do come accross accessories you are looking for I will let you know. I'm still in the search of establishing a strong website that will deal in everything and anything to do with women as beauty is a good market.

    Re: Drop Shippers

I like alot of others have just set up a e-store and am looking for good drop shippers in the US for computer hardware and software.

If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate it. Reasonable fees don't bother me, but I would like ot buy for wholesale and not something closer to retail.

So far I have liked what I have seen on this forum.

Anyway, you're going to find it very difficult for anyone to take you seriously or do business with you because of the reputation that area of the world has developed the past few years, which is sad.
Actually, how BAD is online credit card fraud anyway? My business is located in Hong Kong and our target market, apart from China, is basically everywhere in the world.

I've always been wondering how BAD online fraud is. Does anyone have any links to articles or anything that can tell me more about the seriousness of online fraud? Or does anyone have any experience of online fraud that they can share with us? (ie. what happened and how they went about solving it)

Credit Card and other online fraud

Selling from the USA to another country is very risky. Credit card fraud is in the billions of US dollars.

I found this website http://www.interdropship.com/ via google and it seems to have a good selection of drop shippers with no fees and they constantly update them.

They offer a lifetime membership for only $US2.95 and you have access to their list and you can even have your own favourite listing. Not bad for 2.95 I was impressed

Once you get into their system you are in for good.

    Jelessy,

When you say you take all credit card fraud risk, what exactly do you mean? Have you lost money to fraud?

Hi, Lyndsi. The article I mentioned before is here: http://www.ecommerce-guide.com//article.php/3503441

I think we can safely say she's definitely a safe source to go through. There's another drop ship company I met with at eBay Live last month. I can't recal the name, but when I get back into work tomorrow, I'll post it here. I'm going to be doing a short write up on them shortly anyway.

    Lyndsi--

Justr curious about how you chose that particular line of e-business to go into. Is there a big demand for that sort of item?

How do other people decide what their e-business is going to be? Personal interest? Seeing a demand? I'd like to hear how people got started.

Well, the wedding business is so crazy and has created such a huge market I think almost anyone could make money on it somehow. I kinda like the approach she's taking, although I have no clue how many competitors she has.

A friend and I have been talking about opening some type of e-business for some time now. I am a stay at home mom, and she hopes to be a stay at home mom (as long as our business takes off). We chose favors because, one- there does not seem to be any type store around that sells a wide variety of favors (unless it is an online store). And two - I like the idea that with favors, people are going to purchase them in bulk (for all attendees at the particular event).

For us, we would like to have a drop ship only business because shipping seems to be too much for us to handle with everything else we have going on in our lives (at least for to start, for now).

I think that most people that start an e-business choose there business based on personal interest or based on an item or service there are really familier with.
