Rate my site please
Hello, wanted to get some feedback. What do you think about my site?
http://www.cigarplace.biz
Thanks.

It is a nice looking site but your not going to get much business if no one can find you. You have done very little SEO. You need all of your Meta_Tags, Keywords and content yet. Make sure to get keyword rich content on all of your pages and get some descriptions on your products.

Ditto what she said. You will need to add some enticing descriptions as well and tie them into your key words and key phrases. I notice that some products have no description at all.

I echo what they said about search engine optimization, but the site looks terrific. The coding is also modern, and in fact I was browsing to see if you had the Cuesta rey cigars I used to smoke.

Oooops!

Don't wear a padded bra, it's false advertising.

No....it is called winter apparel. Our temperatures are already falling into the teens at night. Brrrrrrrrrrrr

Information architecture... Shorten the header vertically to get more content above the fold and utilize the real estate next to your main lifestyle "sample" shot.
Add some keyword rich content to the homepage, even if its all the way at the bottom. You would be amazed on the SEO front how much the unique content can help.
Without nitpicking - Your Prod detail page is decent as well as the prod browse.
Cold Fusion isn't going to be your friend in the long term, unless you have a great few developers to support it.
SEO friendly URL's would make a huge difference in your ability to leverage the long tail of organic search.
My 3 cents.

Thank you all for the replies. I do have a lot of products without descriptions, but, if you search for a Cigar Brand most do have descriptions.
Boochzila, why do you say that ColdFusion will not be good in the long term? My developer said that ColdFusion was the way to go because there were more CF technicians to do fixes and so the cost and speed of maintenance would be cheaper and faster. Was that BS?
Thanks.

Semi-BS. There was a hey-day of CF many moons ago.
CF is a language on the brink of extinction. Speed and Cost factors should point you to a newer framework like Ruby on Rails as opposed to CF circa 1998.
Also there is no such thing as a CF programmer. Good developers can learn CF in a day because the tag based syntax is very easy, but the draw back is that its very limited and becoming harder top support. No good programmer would have CF as the their preferred language on their resume.
If you have a stable of CF guys now, lock them in. It will be much harder than you think to find a good programmer willing to do serious coldfusion down the road.
Sorry if my tone seems gruff. Not my intention. Just make sure you absolutely have a contingency plan for support moving forward that is not based on the one or two guys who built the platform.
And fix your URL's to be SEO friendly as soon as you can. The difference will be dramatic.
