Software to handle accounting, inventory, PO's, sales orders, Ecommerce integration

I am looking for software to help run a small clothing company. Right now, I am using a series of Excel workbooks to handle sales orders, purchase orders, customers info, product info, and inventory. I use a personal finance app (Moneydance) to handle my accounting and also have a separate online shopping cart.

I am finding that a lot of my time is spent moving data from one place to another or trying to figure out how to run new reports or add data to the Excel workbooks.

I would really like one application that could run everything. It could be web-based or software for one computer. I have done some searching but have not found much more than things like Netsuite, which seems a little overwhelming and too expensive for me. Any ideas of what I could use?

By the way, I would really like the accounting to be able to download directly from my bank accounts, credit cards, etc if possible. It saves a lot of time.

If your cart supports it, Quickbooks. It does it all for me.

I actually would like to find a new shopping cart. I am using virtuemart right now, but I need to be able to add in both wholesale and retail pricing for different customers. It seems rpetty difficult to do in Virtuemart. Any recommendations of what would do that and work with quickbooks? Is there a list of quickbooks compatible carts anywhere?

I use CSCart and you can do all that and more. Virtuemart as a part of Joomla is limited and I find the products more complicated to edit than necessary.

Thumbs down stay away from Everest

We went on a similar search several years ago and found Everest (then Icode). Documentation and preliminary all looked GREAT. Then reality is all bust. Support is severely lacking and expensive once they have you. "Experts" that we paid to help impement spent half our purchased time looking up answers. Some support they talked us into purchasing we never needed, and they wouldnt convert to another form needed. No support, too many bugs, all sales pitch.
Now we must spend the same time and $$ again to migrate to a new software.
    Hope for you the best!

Take a look at Volusion. They can integrate Quickbooks and has the option of setting up 5 different pricing levels.

    Software integration

Take a look at AaaTex.com for some great tools. There is a program called the TransImporter which will bring your Excel file (or other similar file) into Quickbooks for you without having to duplicate the info. There is also a program called The Integrator, which will bring a shopping cart, like Paypal, Amazon, Americart, etc. directly into Quickbooks. It's customizable if needed. There's even a free CheckImport program. This will save you alot of time.

Yeah they sell a good game but once you get to the summit, it's all downhill from there. Take it from one who knows. Plus the new ecommerce package 5 is super duper advanced.... if you're doing business in the 90's still.
