Google Now Able to Index Text in Flash

Any ideas what impact - if any - Google's ability to crawl text in Flash will have in relation to SEO?

The following was taken from Google's Webmaster CentralBlog:

Q: Which Flash files can Google better index now?
We've improved our ability to index textual content in SWF files of all kinds. This includes Flash "gadgets" such as buttons or menus, self-contained Flash websites, and everything in between.

I'm hoping it will have little impact - mainly because no one really uses it anymore.

Flash is becoming outdated with the introduction of Ajax. It also still hinders load time which has a negative affect on the visitor.

I see it as only making Flash become 'less bad'.

Matt Cutts even said so himself that they have limited ability to read text in Flash. I can't see it being much of a factor personally.
I am always looking for new business and franchises opportunities.

    This would be great.

Wow! This would be great. I was not really aware of this and as such always avoided creating websites in Flash. This is good news. Most probably my websites next design would be in Flash.

I hope it does nothing because there are a few things I dislike more than all flash sites. I don't even use them. I leave flash disabled except when I absolutely need it

I would not. It can only read PART of Flash. Not all. In fact, very little. You're better off staying away from major Flash usage.

I promise it does nothing since there are a elite matters I disfavor more than all flash websites. I don't even apply them. I leave flash disabled except when I perfectly want it.
