    Transaction security

    Hello,

Just wondering if any of the e-tailers in this forum protect the transactions conducted on their Web sites. We recently published an article on SmallBusinessComputing.com that tells the story of one e-tailer's woes with hackers stealing his customers' credit card information. Access the article here: http://www.smallbusinesscomputing.co...le.php/3483711

How important is transaction security to your business?

Given that budgets are tight and margins low, how much would you be willing to spend to safeguard your customer's credit cards?

Have any of you had your e-commerce site hacked?

We'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences.

    Lauren

Checkout security is built into all my sites. I wouldn't have it any other way. The security is part of the software I use to build my sites.
