Search Engine Submissions

Quite often I see ads similar to the following: "Let us submit your site to over 350 search engines". Can this be of benefit, or is it a waste of time since I am indexed by the major engines? Can it be harmful?

Some SEO experts saying bunch submitting without efficiency. And I never do it.

Thanks for the comments about bulk submissions to search engines. This was my opinion as well, but just wanted confirmation from those more knowledgable than me.

I think if you havce time and energy, you can do it because there are still lots of people doing this, if not , how could the owner of these site surviving?

It's of no value whatsoever and if you do submit to them, your spam box will overfloweth.

Hands off from such bulk submission services - they just want your e-mail address for getting sold on various address lists. The only thing that increases after submission with such a service is the number of UCE (spam) mails. Nothing else.
