Need help on integration

Hi,

We are a small firm of about 75 employees in the UK and are looking to integrate some of our back office systems. These are really point to point integrations- mostly file to database. Does anyone here know of any vendor that provides solutions for such scenarios. We are not into jargon etc. and dont want to do SOA - just send data from A to B. I was looking for options of less than £20,000 including software and consulting.

Any clues?

Do you have any details on what kind of systems you're trying to integrate? There are a lot of different kinds of databases. Also, are you looking for vendors in the UK exclusively, or are you considering international companies, as well?

Have you written any specifications yourself or do you have need for the consultant to do those?
UK consultants are expensive around £350 per day. If you know your specifications, then you can hire freelancer to do it by eLance.

It sounds like your just looking to create either some sort of data conversion into the database or perhaps actually create the frontend area to directly feed into the database.

You sould be able to find someone to come that for that amount of money, I have work on many projects like this in the past.
