Verizon broadband?

I travel about once a month on business, all in the US. I have been thinking about the Verizon broadband service. Has anyone used this or a similar service? How fast is the Internet connection? Is this type of service ready from prime time yet?

Are you referring to their broadband WiFi? Their wireless anywhere for laptops?

I've been using Verizon's broadband cellular networking card in my laptop for the last 3 years. The card is free but the monthly is a bit steep. I've been pleased with the service and speed - its the fastest wireless around - I just wish their monthly cost was less. Other than that, I highly recommend them.

YEah, I believe it's $80 a month, or thereabouts.

One caveat is that this service doesn't work in certain areas. Even some places where the cell phone reception is fine.

Verizon's monthly cost is 59.00 for unlimited data access. It used to be 79.00 until T-mobile and Sprint got their cellular cards out to the public. Obviously, Verizon will screw the customer if they have the chance. 59.00 is still too much in my opinion but I know from history Verizon won't drop the price unless another company forces them too.
