    New Color Scheme

I decided to try and add some color to the site, as suggested. I would like some opinions - which is better the new green or the old white?

Is it easy enough to read with the black text?

I find it very easy. Someone with a less "contrasty" screen setting may have difficulty though. You have a good color tool? Try lightening the green just a tad without changing the hue.

I'll give it a try tonight and repost the site. If I can't get it right, straight off, I may change back to the white scheme for the "go live" and keep working on a better color scheme.

On second thought I think for the time being, I'm going to go back to the white format. I'm using a new graphic software and am still trying to come up with a better concept/logo for the header. Plus, I still have a few items to get loaded on there.

Thanks for looking at it. It should be live on Monday!

    Have a great weekend everyone!

    Dear Eccles,
In my opinion the old white color will best suit to your website, the reason behind is that in white color the content will show clearly and it will be most attractive for your website.

In the website the graphics will also matched perfectly with old white color. If you use green color in your website than it is not suitable with black font.

    Bye

Thank you. That was my orignal intent in using that color scheme.

I would make the color of the category strips match the blue in the header, that very dark midnight blue. Then you could represent the green in the header somewhere else on the page. Color matching is pretty important for the overall look of a page.

The little A-frame roof in the logo, at least on my screen, looks like a midnight blue. Very dark, but it looks like a blue.

The text "make the most of it" is black. They're not the same color here. Are they on your monitor?

    Dear Eccles,
You should continue your existing color in your website. The old white color is suitable to your website.

They are on my screens (I use 3 different computers to view the site as I'm working)
