Are you a golfer? I want your opinion on my site

Please look at www.madhackergolf.com http://www.madhackergolf.com I am receating the whole site and would like some direction on where to go. It is designed for the average golfer. Please look at the look, most of the text needs to be updated.

    Thanks,

it's a pretty good look. I would add a hover state to the left navigation (you have one for the fly out menus). Other than that, I don't see much to pick apart.

So I go to your site and this big Google ad box pops up in your header. I'm looking at it and I don't look at your site. If you want that...ok!

The Google ads on top definitely distract from what looks like a pretty fun header image underneath. Try moving that to the bottom of your pages. I probably would chalk your site up to 'being in existence only to make a few bucks off ads' - despite the fact you do have some decent content.

As a "Ms." I would drop your first sentence of "Golf is a gentlemen’s game" and get some content up there for women's golf and also for children's - everyone focuses on men's golf and you can add these sections, get some new affiliate links to other sources, and serve a need.

(but yeah that top Google ad is bad!)

    Good luck!

yeah Vangie has a point there. Golf is not strictly a male sport. In fact sport itself isn't male, nor adult. you might offend a portion of your potential customer base if you don't change that.
