Ever heard of GoEcart?
Last night I spoke with the Sales Mgr at GoEcart. A very smart and knowledgably woman named Nancy Burban. I got a lot of helpful information and feedback on how I might implement the E-store I envision. Their product seemed pretty darn flexible.
I would be curious if anyone else has looked into this shopping cart solution and what their impressions were. For me, Design flexibility is key, easy updates, and Flash integration.
Very pleased I found this community. It's a terrific resource as I start out in the land of Ecommerce.

I haven't used their software, but played with their demo. You can get your own free demo (no credit card or commitment required) by filling out their contact form.
Their list has a lot of features, but I wasn't really impressed by their back-end. Also, because they are quite high priced, even as hosted solutions go.
It really depends on your needs, but a couple of the better "paid" carts I found were:
http://www.aspdotnetstorefront.com
http://www.shopsite.com
http://www.actinic.com
http://www.productcart.com
http://www.modularmerchant.com
I'm sure I missed some. There are also some pretty good free/cheap carts out there, like www.x-cart.com, www.litecommerce.com, www.cubecart.com, www.vpasp.com, www.creloaded.com, www.oscommerce.com
