Ours was very nice. Not a big expenditure on gifts this year but everyone is happy and enjoying family time.

We had a house full of grandkids over night Saturday/Sunday ... so all the parents could have a night out. Holy cow! I'd forgotten what it's like to have three-year-olds underfoot for extended periods. lol

There were 7 total; 2 three-YOs, one 5-YO, one 8, one 10, one 12 and one 15. Sleeping arrangments were in small piles here and there but everybody got to sleep early ... like 2 am!

The 8 and 10-YOs helped me make sourdough blueberry pancakes for Sunday breakfast while the three- and five-YOs continued to keep eveyone on their toes. Very nice, if hectic time. The parents had a ball and got to sleep in and the kids got to see, and taste, grandpa's culinary magic one more time.

Sounds like Fun. I miss having little ones around at Christmas (not enough to have any myself though ).
