take a look at our site

    www.vitaminD3world.com
This started off as an information only site, but then we developed our own formulation of vitamin D. Our conversion rate at the moment is just under 2%

well the site could use some dressing up visually, but it isn't terrible. If you invested in things like a slicker looking header, and a proper design with a little more color, you might be able to instill more confidence on the part of the user, thus raising the conversion rate. Also the site is coded to 25 year old standards. That probably won't affect users at all, but may have a small effect on search engine rankings.

I have to agree with JPnyc, the sites needs an improvement in terms of the visual design. The current design is too simple and not so professional. You need to have a more professional looking site in order for you to increase your conversation. Also, your customer support thing is a bit annoying.

The is not bad at all it just needs a little help from the professional web designer

Well, as a health site i think you should give more attention to you designe since it will drag the reader's attention and keep him/her reading, and also you should optimize your site and focuse on your keywords, the home page title called "Home" and i think that it shouldn' be like that, try to put a uniqeu title for each page and always use your keywords where ever you can, and also, that assistance window that is following the visitor while he drag down might cosete you a lot of traffic,i mean it might make people get out of the site instead of closing it

I think the design works for this site. It's an information site as well as e commerce and the sparseness works for me.

I would put the first page into div's so there is less scrolling. The page is too long and I question whether anyone will scroll to view all the information on the page.

I like the site a lot. I don't think sites need to be very complicated or flashy, I like them simple so yours is great. Plenty of good information too.
