The design seems fine. Make sure you work on the SEO. Your opening paragraph, on the home page, does not contain any keywords. You also need to get keyword rich content on each of the category pages and the product descriptions. Lastly, I'm assuming that most of the products have "call for pricing" on them simply because you have not had a chance to put their pricing in.

The site is not appealing, does not flow well and is difficult to navigate. The pages are too busy and cluttered. It gives the appearance of a garage sale, not a high quality retail store. There is also what I call "happy talk" on the homepage. Happy talk is the "bla bla bla" of a company going on and on about how wonderful it is and how it is committed to this that and the other thing. Customers who visit your site do not care how wonderful you think your business is and they certainly do not want to read about it on the homepage. They have a goal: on your site it is to find a product and purchase it. Anything else on the site that does not help them find what they are looking for and easily buy it is just getting in their way and making them frustrated.

The layout is... well, not very unique nor eye-catching. Perhaps you should add a few mouse-over buttons or other elements that improve the design a bit (currently it looks more like a website created basing upon a standard template).

Ensure that you have sufficient rights to use the three photos at the site's header.

You have a good start. Your product page is very clean and the tabbed information is definitely a current practice. I also like that you have included the Information Section with races for each sport. Good way to build visitor loyalty.

I would clean up the header a bit. There's a lot happening with the pictures on the left, text in the middle, and logos on the right. Simplify. Create a branded and sophisticated logo. Your products will probably be too expensive to get away with the cartoon 'nut'.

I assume that many other areas/suggestions are places that will be touched up before launch so I will end here. Good luck.

As far as SEO goes you have a good opening paragraph you just need to pick your keyword phrase and start integrating it in places like your meta title, create an <h1> tag with it at the top of the paragraph. Also, I would recommend including a conclusion paragraph just below the product category list, not that anyone will read it but the search engines like to see it and it gives you more space to integrate your keyword phrase. If you are having trouble picking your keyword phrase think to yourself, "if I were searching for this site what would I type in at Google"

I would ask for the designer to remove his/her link from your site unless they are paying for advertising. Thats just a pet pieve of mine. Not a biggy just something that I would do. I would use h1 h2 h3 tags on your 1st important keyword pharse for h1 and the second and so on. I would talk with your designer and ask for him/her to mod rewrite your shopping cart so it's search engine friendly. And to use your keywords for a specific product in the url. exmaple if your selling nike shoes. the url will have your url and in their ninke shoes.
The color is nice and easy on the eyes. Make sure that you make a sitemap.xml and submit that to the search engines when the site is done then the search engines will know how to index your site.
Otherwise I'd say everything looks good:-)

Yeah, yeah, that's what they all say. So what makes you unique? You need a one liner or bullet list that defines who you are and put that right up top.

Lastly, give your web designer some info he can use to develop proper meta descriptions. Even your home page meta contains an incomplete sentence.

I don't think anyone will be searching for "multisport" so don't repeat it twice in your title. Some basic SEO research is needed to determine what your audience is searching for (see google webmaster tools and wordtracker- paid- for help)
