Need advice for ecommerce
Hi, i need advice for this site, please give me a source which is most user friendly categorized, and how could i marketing. www.adhuli.com
-
1. Why do you have a yahoo.com contact us email address? With all due respect, that is very unprofessional for what is susposed to be a professional website.
2. Did you write this website yourself? Or are you just using it from the company you signed up with?
3. Do you own the domain name and have management control over it?
-
Nice website, it is clear and pure. I like such easy layouts :-)
Yes, you must get an own e-mail address of adhuli.com, this is important for building trust.
Check out your meta tags, especially keywords and descriptions. They are too general in my mind, the keywords one contains even full sentences. Remove the meta tag "reply-to", never saw such one (although it shouldn't hurt anything if you leave it ;-)
Instead of "Hi, Guest" I would write "Hi, nice to see you. Look around and don't miss to _register_" (_register_ means adding a link).
Resize the "Welcome" image that it is a bit smaller and instead of add some more products to the home page.

Dear, marc77
Thanks for u r advice i need some more.

Like marc77 said, your meta tags need work.
It seems that you are solely dealing with Bangladesh. So, be sure to include your location bluntly. meta keywords="bangladesh shopping" or something similar - this will help your SEO by emphasizing your location.
Also, use geo-targeting SEM. No need to spend money and waste time trying to cater to other areas that will not convert.

The site looks clean...
Take the above mentioned advice to fix the email from your own domain as well as the meta tags.
Think about adding html coded content. This was the search engines can actually "read" your site and give them an idea on what you're talking about.

Thanks, i guess all of u r comments will be fruitful to me.

I think you need to make yourself less anonymous, to give visitors confidence that behind the web site there is a proper business that they can trust. On your Contact us page, you need the phone number in the main body, not just in the sidebar; and a PO Box number or other postal address. A photo of yourself and / or your shop would be good as well, and some endorsements from existing customers if you can get them.
You also need to make your returns policy clearer, and maybe a bit more realistic. It looks as though one of your targets is people living in the west who want to buy things for relatives in Bangladesh. I think this could work well if you can gain people's confidence. I know that The Cake Store in south London gets a lot of internet orders from people living overseas who want to buy celebration cakes for relatives in London. But you need to remember that the person receiving the order may not be the one who placed it. What happens if they find out after the carrier has left that the wrong goods were sent? How do they return them and get a replacement?
