Volusion vs Yahoo Stores vs CoreCommerce

Who would you pick any why?

    volusion.com
    yahoo.com
    corecommerce.com

This should give many various responses I believe.

After researching all 3, nearly 3 years ago, we chose Volusion. It has it's limitations just like any e-commerce solution, but over all it funtions well, is easy to administer to and has great support.

I use volusion, but it's clunky (looked like a bunch of programmers built it), and I'm considering switching to corecommerce. They have comparable features and corecommerce is a little more generous on their bandwidth. Just my 2 cents worth.

You couldn't have researched all 3 nearly 3 years ago because CoreCommerce was released this year: http://www.pr-inside.com/corecommerc...ze-r512741.htm

You may be confusing it with an NYC based company called CoreCommerce that went out of business a few years ago.

I have used Yahoo Stores, Volusion and CoreCommerce. Before CoreCommerce was released, I used DigiSHOP which is a distributed version of the software and I can't say enough good things about it. After using CoreCommerce for several months (I got to participate in beta testing), I am very impressed. The software is good looking, intuitive, easy to use, feature rich and cheap. For the same price, I get almost double the bandwidth, mail boxes and products with CoreCommerce then what I got with Volusion. And their support is great, I can always pick up the phone and call them up with whatever questions I have.

I greatly recommend CoreCommerce over the other two. It may be just me, but if they keep doing what they're doing, I'm gonna be a loyal customer for good.

P.S. Here's some thought food you might interesting:

Just dropping my two cents... I use SmartCart. They have been around longer than ALL of these shopping carts.

I too am in the processing of changing from my yahoo legacy store (which I have been with for 8 years but they recently doubled my monthly fee from $50-$100 ++ which is way too $$ for the pittiful store features). I was turned off by the voluminous posts on various websites and from 2 Volusion users I know with personal experience about Volusions high bandwidth extra charges. CoreCommerce seems like solid program with better monthly rates/more bandwidth.

Question: Is there a way for me to measure how much bandwidth and hard drive size I am currently using on Yahoo so that I can estimate what my costs will actually be if I choose CoreCommerce?

    Thanks

I agree with bizcom on this one and say Smartcart is a pretty good choice...I'm not a fan of Yahoo at all and had a bad experience with Volusion.
I am always looking for new business and franchises opportunities.

    VOLUSION
    I don't know corecommerce.
Yahoo is good, but Volusion provides a better value in the long run if you invest in site set up and SEO, whether with your own sweat and labor or outsourced.
There are some things that bother me (can't get any doc type to work), but on the whole, if your store has some complexity with product, then this solution works well and has some built in SEO features that are helpful.
I do not use volusion for email.
