Looking how setup Activities Calendar

I am the business manager for a parochial high school. At the present time we have a large desk calendar in the reception area. Activities and events are manually recorded on the calendar by the receptionist. We do have a calendar on our website but not all activities are recorded there.

I would like to find a way to convert the large desk calendar to some kind of electronic calendar that would be either sent to faculty and staff or be accessible by the faculty and staff. We still want the input entered by the receptionist simply to have a way of monitoring what goes on the calendar.

You may decide for a web-based calendar / planning software (some project planning tools may also come with such an app, but may be overloaded with useless features for your application).

Of course, you need to have someone installing and configuring the software for you, but since we don't speak about a complex piece of software, it should be an easy job, maybe even for one of your students.

There are surely also commercial products available I usually would prefer. But these are usually very expensive and come with features you may simply not need.
