Question about e-commerce....

I’m going to write my final thesis for my master in management. I would also like to setup a e-commerce business In Poland. Now I’m trying to come up with a subject for my thesis that would somehow involve e-commerce. I thought about writing something about: Building a competitive advantage in e-business. What do you think about it? Do you have any ideas for a subject or any other directions? Many thanks!

I think you need subject where you can do empirical test cases, otherwise it will be hard to evaluate the thesis

Regarding a competitive advantage in e-business, you could write about how companies like Amazon use associates to help sell their merchandise. I run a start-up EcommerceForEveryone.com , and that's what we specialize in. I think that Amazon has a competitive advantage in e-business because of it's army of associates. Might be a good topic. Hope it helps.

I also would recommend taking a "big player" as example for your thesis. You may also find existing literature that could be used as reference when writing.

You may check out such companies like Microsoft, Apple or IBM. All three are success stories, working in the fields of e-commerce (especially Apple is a good example of extensive successful marketing and corporate identity).
