Help identifying a couple of shopping carts

There are a couple of sites that have shopping carts
that I like (we're looking to upgrade our Shopsite
installation). But... for the life of me I can't figure
    out what carts they're using.

    They are:

    https://www.roadrunnersports.com/
    http://chefscatalog.com/

Can anyone tell me what carts they're using (different
carts). I particularly like the Chef's Catalog cart.

We'd stick for a while longer with Shopsite, but it's got
a couple of (small but important) show-stopping issues
    as we get larger:

    - no ability to specify shipping weights for sub-products
    - no ability to track inventory for sub-products

By sub-products I mean product options, such as sizes
    or colors for a shirt.

Anyway, if anyone can help with the cart identification,
I'd appreciate it. And if anyone has particular cart
    recommendations, I'd appreciate it.

We're looking for something full-featured and preferably
that's part of a complete real-time inventory system (or
at least that can be integrated with one).

    Thanks much.

Have you tried contacting the webmaster on these sites and finding out if they are using a known shopping cart software or had it designed?

I have indeed. No replies I'm afraid.

The only other suggestion I have, if no one recognizes these sites, is to contact someone like Volusion. They do custom designing and could probably replicate the templates used. Good Luck.

Though it's more than the templates, it's the functionality of the carts (in the case of Chef's Catalog in particular), it's very sophisticated and full-featured -- tough to duplicate with, say, something like osCommerce.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

I've spent a fair amount of time on the sites as a customer (especially Chefs Catalog, which has had the same cart for a few years now).

    Thanks.

    maybe you can do following:
By tracing thier domain name check where the hosting is, try contacting hosting company and ask what shopping carts they offer.
As you can see the shopping cart created by .NET try contacting .NET shopping cart vendors and ask if they have these options you are looking for.

You can also find out that the price of such cart is high, because you need Windows platform and developers should pay a lot for developmnet environment
