Security Survey

Hi All

I am a part time student, studying for a degree in IT Security whilst working in the industry. I am interested in performing a survey to assess:

- IT security awareness
- IT security implementation
- associated risk exposure

in small businesses.

My intention at present is to use this information to create a self audit tool for small businesses to assess the risk associated with their use of computers which provides some basic guidance on best practice security implementation given the level of risk.

I would be grateful if people could let me know if they would be interested in participating in this sort of survey.

The incentive is that I will share my results and findings with all participants (whilst preserving their anonymity if this is a requirement).

If you would be interested in taking part could you reply to this message (and the poll) giving me an indication of the size of your business (by number of employees) and your location (just the country is adequate)

If you have any questions I'll be keeping an eye on this thread and will try to answer them.
