    Whats the best SEO software?

What's the best software for SEO and other things related to enhancing an e-commerce business?

I know that these aren't magic bullets but some recommendations for the best software would be really helpful!

I recommend Addweb7 Pro as stymiee does.

Most so called "SEO Experts" say they don't use any software for optimization, but some well known experts as robin nobles tell you to use some of WPG tools.

I don't think there is anything wrong using tools for SEO. You have to take advantage of them at what they do to ease your job. What are you going to stop using next? MS Word and turn in all project to your customer hand written? MS Word is a tool as well, so why do you use it? Simply because it helps go faster with your job. Are you gonna stop using IE and go back to use telnet ftp and text based bulletin boards? I don't think so. Use the tools whenever needed.

depends what you are looking for. I once used Trellian - http://www.veikoherne.com/2007/08/us...optimisations/ but this seems to be outdated. The simple Analytics and being active in webmasters forums will help you.

There's a lot of good software/tool like seoquake and seospyglass. However, do things manually otherwise you might be penalized by Google and deindexed your site.

It is tough to use software and not get "slapped"
by Google, this is too true, but Seo gives the best
effect for driving heavy traffic to your site.

I would highly recommend hiring someone to do
    the complete job...someone reputable.

Be careful. Many seo sites charge absorbant prices
and only deliver an article and a blog entry each month.

Seo, when done properly, consists of the creation and
full submission of articles, press releases, audios and
    videos every month.

David Preston (the legendary consultant) does a great
job of consulting and performing this.

    His site is: http://easylocalseo.com/?aff=19

Other companies charge up to 3 to 4 times as much
for less work often resulting in placement on the 2 page
    of Google or after.

When you pay for seo you don't want to be anywhere but
on the Top of the First Page of Google.

Don't settle for a listing of page 2 or page 4 of Google.
No one will find you there as opposed to the top of the
    First Page.

    Just letting you know!

I have been using Market Samurai lately and I am enjoying its functionality. Plus there are a lot of things I can do with it.

My humble suggestion is dont use any software for SEO promotion, It will affect your ranking. If you really dont have time to do promotion, just hire an experienced SEO expert.
