    Software suggestions

We are in need of updating our software.
    medium sized company
    we are a b2b wholesaler
    requirements
    need a complete program
    sales - order entry
    purchasing
    inventory control
    accounting (prefer with payroll)

what is making this difficult is that we have to have the following:

1 - must have kitting ability
2 - must have ability to disassemble kits
3 - must have landed cost

If anyone could make some recommendations I would be grateful.
Yes there are still lots more criteria but if we can hit these 3 off the bat it would help me reduce the quantity of software.

I think it is better to contact the developer of your software, they will be able to update.

No they will not update. The software is written in COBOL. They are closing down after this year. Unfortunately the software is way more advanced that anything I have reviewed. Yes even SAP. Yes I have tried to interest other companys/programmers into taking on converting this software but so far no luck. If it were possible we would not change but that is not an option.
    Thank you anyway.

I think the best would be to create ERP software for handling the requirements mentioned by you. This type of software can only be created by experienced software professionals. You should contact them and send them yo requirements they will let you know the pricing and other things.

Considering your wholesale business, and the requirements mentioned, what I can visualize is that you need an Enterprise Resource Planning at the earliest. A complete procurement to pay I would suggest, with additional Inventory modules, maybe! (Depends)

Well, there are two ways here.

First, to have your own system developed by hiring a team of SAP experts and let them work for a couple of months to get a system and things on place, and have a regular maintenance cost for the same.

Second, is way more quick, affordable, and easy as per my experiences!

Go for a good Cloud-based ERP Service. They will understand your requirements and provide you with a minimum set of modules that will enhance your system and in the quickest way, without disturbing the current course of work. I have seen the fastest implementations in my last firm that took around just 3 weeks to go live.

Since you need to ensure the kitting, dissembling, and landing cost features, you can let them know and they can customize the modules as per needs.

Just talk to some affordable ERP Vendors and you can thrive your business.

    Best of luck!

If you are still interested in a Software for your business I suggest you search for Royal 4 Systems.
