Data protection Strategy

What would be best data protection Strategy.

Raid 1 the Work folder + Sync to external USB + Cloud daily sync

Or

Sync work folder to USB Hard Drive + NAS with RAID 1 + Cloud daily Sync
Basically want to know where is the best place the RAID 1 should be placed , on the work folder or on the backup

I vote for ALL OF THE ABOVE!!!

I doubt it would matter much unless the NAS could be setup with a wireless connection in another part of the building.

Think about Fire and Theft when creating a backup plan. If the fire starts in you main computer room - you don't want your backup to all burn.

I don't have the budget to do both .,.the second option requires me to buy a NAS....so there is no real PROS/CONS of if.use the MOBO RAID on primary.data set vs NAS RAID on the secondary data set....as long as it use somewhere?

The both part was a joke....

You're wanting to backup your data.... A copy sent to a USB Drive and a copy to the Cloud would be fine for most people.... Raid 1 is over rated...

Cloning your hard drive and keeping that at another location is something to consider.
