How optimize website for yahoo

Hi,

We mostly all optimize website for Google but how we can optimize for yahoo. Is there any special techniques or any trick?

Not really any trick but Yahoo still places emphasis on keywords. I discuss the Yahoo issue HERE

whn discussing SEO most people really mean optimizing sites for higher ranking in Google. Yahoo still has a solid market share, but if you are not among top 10 results for certain searches you just do not get traffic.

You need not to optimize any site in yahoo just focus on Google , Rest will fine automatically. its my personal experiences

Google has long ignored some META tags while Yahoo and others still recognize and use them.

There is not much difference in yahoo website optimization, if your website ranking in Google then it will automatically rank into the yahoo also. Yahoo is process is bit slow when its comes to the update and they more emphasize on the keyword in domain and rank them higher very quickly.

Same as the Google...There are no different technique..

do more and more forum posting with your link in signature

meta keywords, title and keyword rich domain... but why yahoo? I'd focus on Google.

Yahoo is waaay too easy to rank up in, i usually get top 10 while in google im on page 8 for a new site.

Now yahoo.com don't a important factor in seo.

In fairness everything said here holds true, except Yahoo do not have a search engine, you are optimizing for Bing who provide Yahoo's results, You will find it easier to rank but more frustrating as spammers will consistently be beating you. However if you are a Business to business service there is a lot of evidence suggesting that Bing traffic converts much better.

Bing supply all of Yahoo's search results, have done for over a year now, the question asker would do well to log in to MSN/Bing webmaster tools to see what they say about how to rank within their system

I was just making the technical (and somewhat pedantic):rolleyes: point that Yahoo have no independent search results. Just take a look at the bottom of any Yahoo search page and you will find - Powered by Bing™

:eek:And yes it is still much easier to get a Spammy crappy site to rank in Bing than Google, although no question they are getting better.

Optimization is to make your site flawless, present it as as you can. So its not dependent on any of search engine.

If a site is truly independent of any search engine, why would SEO (Search Engine Optimization) be necessary?

Hey Guys!

In my experience, I would have to say that I haven't found there to be much different to both platforms.

I should say though that I found a free tool that helped me with my wordpress website/blog..

All you do is search for wordpress SEO and this is a tool that tells you exactly how you should be setting out your page. This will help, as it will enable you to get higher place in all search engines.

Also, you NEED to make sure that your "Keyword" you are focusing on isn't too saturated within your page. Therefore, use it enough times to give the search engines the most hope in picking it up..

Yahoo has also important in the website also getting visitors from the yahoo search also , might be in less number but still they there are visitors.
