Definitely. Either Google Checkout of PayPal.
Thanks for the reply. It will need to be Google Checkout. I was all set to use PayPal Website Payment Pro, but at the last minute they restricted my account because they did not like what I sell. (Laser grips and sights that attach to handguns)
I am not an IT person. Know anyone to install Google Checkout.
Can PayPal legally discriminate based on your legal product? I'd be consulting a lawyer ...
That's funny. LOL
The merchant processor underwriter can reject or decline anything they want. It's the risk factor that they look at. Normally it's pawn shops and sex toys, liquor, wine, gambling. If your not running the right ecommerce software that looks safe, they will reject you.
Try my guys at Source One, talk to Darrin, click my link and go to payment gateways.
I'm not a lawyer, but I don't think it's the least bit funny. PayPal shouldn't position itself as the Internet Police. If a product is legal, why exclude it?
I kept the funny part to my self, and did not share.
It's merely someone that does not like guns and laser sights, and just declined him for their personal view or opinion of them.
E Bay does have a policy of no guns or gun parts, and you can't list them there, so I'm sure the policy extends to PayPal as well.
It's not about being the Internet police, it's about the social ideology of a group of people extending into out lives.
I live in California, and I like guns and laser sights. I grew up with them, and use to load my own ammo. Rock chucker by RCS was my first press, and the Dillion RC400.
Does anyone know how to activate the Google checkout banner to make your adwords ads appear with a Google checkout?
Ya definitely. You can use the paypal also to increase your business.
Not to belabor the point, but that IS, IMO, positioning yourself as the Internet Police.Quote:

can you please tell me who would accept to be a payment processor for a website selling things like kratom?
Ebay does not accept guns, but they do allow laser grips and sights which PayPal does not even though Ebay is the parent company of PayPal.
There are lots of payment gateway are there which we can use in the website for online shopping.
Like for example,Paypal,Credit card,Debit Card ,Visa Card etc.
We have to purchase the API from the market and have to integrate in the website.
Sorry to hear about your paypay issue. I'm not a fan of Google checkout. I hardly see it used. Have you considered something like authorize.net? The benifit of using this is the transaction would be completed all on your website.
link removed
The same happened to me a year ago. What I am selling violates some policy of theirs. NOTHING than can be considered a weapon or weapon accessory. They shut me down for a week because of this till I either removed all that applied from my site, that's like everything. or i remove all PayPal logo and signage, then they released my account and money.
Thanks for that, TKaz.
But it still bothers me that PayPal can discriminate against legal, lawful products yet do not violate any commerce laws themselves in doing so. If they refused to allow, for instance, web sites owned by Arabic people or sites that sell Afro hair products, I'm betting the feds would be beating down the PayPal's door to investigate.
Hi Mobil844,
If you want to accept payments for guns and gun-related items there is only one place you will *never* have trouble with - https://www.gpal.net/ - formerly, GunPal.com - they are owned and operated by gun owners.
As far as PayPal, they can do whatever they want with their payment services. They are a liberal company owned by a liberal company and neither of them care for firearms or the associated accessories. It doesn't matter why, it is what it is and there are other payment avenues/rails like GPal who are 101% gun friendly and would LOVE to process your payment for guns, ammo, accessories, etc.
Oh, and you might consider listing your items on gunbroker.com - THEY sell guns... lots of them. I have had great success selling my firearms, and buying some as well, all on gunbroker.
Best of luck to you...
Jim
Aren't online payment processors held to the same rules as banks and credit card companies?
