Google... they have 70% of the search traffic.
My first priority for searches is not other than Google and after it Bing AOL, Ask and Alta Vista I use. I find these also helpful to find new results on early pages that may be can't find on Google earlier.
I would like to recommend Google for the best result
I beg to differ. Basing from the latest statistics, Google still holds around 85% of searches done on the web. Yahoo + Bing has 13%. Ergo, at the moment, there is only one SE worth optimizing for.Quote:

I think there is no debate left now that which search engine best. As we all know that Google is the only search engine which is getting about 65 to 70% search queries. Yahoo is also good but not as Google, Google is updating its algorithms continuously to provide the better search results to the users.

Google is the leading and I prefer it because it is covering most of the search on internet. Yahoo is second one to choose but Google has almost 70% total searching share over all.

My vote goes to Google....
There have been lots of percentages thrown out there but I think this site (http://gs.statcounter.com/) will give you a good idea depending on market. If you are looking at just the USA, Google is undoubtedly #1.
I don't think this means we should ignore Yahoo or Bing but I think there should definately be a focus of time on Google.
I think that Google search engin is better than yahoo becuase google having hayper threading search engines. they easily get your search data within seconds .:)

Experts of UC Berkeley Library usually recommend google as the best search engine. But this is also a fact that only a portion of the entire web content is google indexed.
