Interprise Suite - Dead or Alive?
Can any of the Interprise Suite resellers (or anyone) give us an update on whether they feel IS is still viable? I am invested in the software, but I have not carried it very far and I don't want to spend any more time on it if they are fatal. Their present silence is eerie.
I have been scouring the forums here and around looking for a peek inside the mind of Interprise Suite. I have been looking for any signs of life and I had to hold a mirror up to their nostrils to find a shallow breath. I told them repeatedly to stop their moderated posting and let it flow freely (since it takes them what seems like a week to approve a post). With their DotNetNuke install, they could have easily configured permissions for licensed users, if they wanted to screen the public. Now, their own forum is DOA and other forums are gasping.
What's your take?
Interprise Suite is still Alive
Hey,
It's surely alive and floating in the current economy, we are resellers in east coast and we are working with them from past 2-3 yrs and are taking clients live with 5.3.2 version.
Are there bugs/issues? yes every s/w does have issues but its upto resellers and ERP implementors to work through them so it doesn't affect business owners to conduct their business, that's where resellers step in and shield your business.
It's tough market now, companies are cutting corners and I assume IS is also cutting its workforce to stay afloat, Taylor has invested which would keep the Company going into 2010 and hopefully we will see the new version released...
Forums or discussion boards are like "double edge sword" you never know which one pricks, hence most forums are moderated, even small business computing forum is moderated just to keep the post/replies by the rules...
Successful Interprise Suite Customers
Louie I hear your comments, however I wanted to mention that we few successful customers up & running Interprise Suite for their business. Just want to give you few facts, other than that I feel bad that you invested so much and haven't seen the fruits of it.
Interprise Suite Customers who are live:
1. Quilters Warehouse has been running since May'09 migrated them from Everest Software to Interprise, their backend, retail and e-Commerce is powered by Interprise Suite, read more about it here.
2. We recently launched Hips and Curves on Sep 1st' 09 it took us 3 months to migrate their data, customize their website, optimize their products for search engines and go live visit www.HipsandCurves.com
3. We also have PotomacPaddleSports in Maryland using Interprise and their POS software for over 6+ mths
All these websites had few issues or concerns or bugs with few limited features, but they all are up and running their business. We helped them customize few features like Paypal, item matrix import, SEO plugins etc so they could operate normally.
We are here to help any small and medium business using Interprise or other ERP software, let us know if you need any help.
We want our money back....
I'm glad to hear you say that Infosourcing...
We bought the unlimited user version of Interprise - plus 5 e commerce stores very early while they were having the most problems - it didn't work for us and we could not wait any longer without an accounting and e commerce system.
Interprise will not give us our money back and told us to sell the software on eBay. So far we haven't had any interest.
You seem to be tuned into people that are having great success with Interprise - perhaps you can suggest where the best place for us to find people ready to make the plunge into Interprise and wouldn't mind saving some money on their investment. The Interprise forum doesn't seem to be very active or we would try that. Any ideas?
