It still seems you're confusing Page Rank with SERPs. A site can rank very highly, even at #1 in the SEs with very low Page Rank.

SERP stands for search engine results page. Basically, when you type in a word or words in a search engine, the results query is what SERP stands for. PR is Page rank..ranked from 0-10. I think only google is 10. Anyway the difference is pretty obvious..anyway PR isnt that important if you are in the top 10 for the keywords your trying to rank for.
The Google PageRank depends on wholly democratic environment of web by its huge link building as indicator of person page's value. Google understands link as of page A to page B as choose, by page A, for page B. Google looks at above sheer quantity of votes, it also rectify page that casts vote.
Well it must have been somebody else on this forum who banned me without any warnings at all. It was for an "advertising" post I made on 1st April. I had to email in to say, "April Fool!" Whoever it was (and I'm afraid I didn't keep the email) wrote back to the effect, "Good one!", and unbanned me. Hence my user title, "Not Banned; Spanked Hard"!
You are quite right. I should not have embarrassed you by asking. Sorry.
