Thats true. I've recently found that its better to just submit different content to each site. You get a backlink, change the title a little and you hit a different but similar set of keywords. Why would you have the same title then you are just targeting the same set of keywords?Quote:

This is true. But there is a misconception about duplicate content. People get it confused with syndicated content. I have posted the same content on numerous websites..titled differently or the same doesnt matter. And each post indexed..the same article was indexed in the top 10 three times..so goes to show its all about syndicated content.Quote:

At one time (have not checked in a long time) I had multiple copies of an article that appeared at #1, #2, #3 and several other spots in the top 40. The only difference between them was the domain on which they appeared.
Certainly the exact same article, with the exact same keywords, etc., appearing on 12 or 15 domains at the same time can be considered "duplicate content", but somehow the SEs didn't treat it as such. Even the plagiarised copies of my articles were listed right along with the legitimate ones.
If anybody ever figures out how they (SEs) accomplish that, please let me know. I see all sorts of advantage to be taken. :D (I suspect it has to do with the links in the article and that those links "come from" different domains.)
Personally, I have experienced the same thing..same article showing up in top 40 on different domains. But why not change the title and it will show up under different keywords? it works..trust me

My guess is that Google is trying to stop that happening. Multiple copies of the same thing in serps is not what searchers want. (Notwithstanding that multiple copies of our stuff dominating serps is fine by you and me!)Quote:

Don't submit to multiple article directories, just one is enough like ezinearticles.
It is not wrong submitting the same article on various directories, but if you need good impact on SEO, write more unique article and submit.
article deals with duplicate content as it pertains to writing and submitting and/or syndicating articles. These principles may not pertain to web copy that is duplicated from page to page and remains exclusively on your site.
I also think that it is not good. So if some one claim the contents then how he can prove it. And to whom he will claim?
Google recognizes duplicate content..whats the point in posting on multiple article directories? If you post on just one..like article base..or article alley...you will get a lot of traffic trust me.
