I finally figured this whole thing out and made some decisions! I decided to go with First Atlantic Commerce and I have to say I'm glad I did. Since they're not a massive company I don't feel like a small fish in a big pond..quite the opposite in fact! They also have some interesting bespoke services (Virtual Corporation, etc.) that help get around some of the red tape involved. I would definitely recommend them!

I have heard the same thing about GetEstore from 3 other people. There seems to be a real issue with their responding. I looked at them before joining another dropship/ecomm business. I recently joined http://www.dropship-business.com/index.html?aid=208301 as an affiliate rather than spending a pile of money on companies I know nothing about; it just made sense to test the waters before jumping in. I got my first $ last week from a couple of sales and will take that $ and invest it in their ecomm store now that I know they are legitimate
Good luck!
I recently purchased a GetEstore.com online store. It seemed like a great idea at the time to start making money, but now, I am having second thoughts about the integrity of the company.
Firstly, nobody ever responds to my emails. I'm beginning to think that all the emails go into a black hole somewhere.
Secondly, nobody ever picks up the phone. I always get the voicemail greeting, and then I am notified that the voicemail box is full. There doesn't seem to be any way to contact them!
Thirdly, as I become more concerned, I started doing some research online by typing in 'GetEstore scam' on Google, which is something I should have done prior to getting the store. Wowserz, were there a lot of results! There were claims that items are not sent, and checks were not mailed.
Lastly, as I had recently sold a few products on eBay, and when I visited my store to purchase the items, I was shocked to find out that the product I had sold has been marked 'Out of Stock' and 'Discontinued.' I realize that this happens, but with 7 day auctions and 60 day sale periods, how can you predict when a product is no longer available?
I have also made a few sales elsewhere. As I had already purchased the items through the website, I am now concerned that the products will not be shipped. Also, when I made the purchase, my billing address was different from the shipping address (which is what they asked us to do). Later on in the day, I received an email that asked me to fill out a form and fax it back to them along with a copy of my driver's license and credit card to ensure the security of the transaction. After doing so, I emailed them and called them to make sure that they had received the documents and that the orders would be shipped promptly. No response.
For all you GetEstore.com store owners out there, can you verify that this is a legit dropshipping company - that checks are mailed and products are sent? I would like to know, as I'm sure we all would, if I am getting scammed.
Please feel free to reply to this thread or email me directly at [email protected].

I have been an owner of one of getestore's website for years. There should be a law against such fraudulant promises that these type of companies make. I have dealth with Olga Resnik the owner of Getestore for a long time to try to get matters resolved but no luck even then. I now have an attorney involved in the matter and he has spoken with the owner(s) several times but the fraudulant activities of this company continues to go on. I purchased this store as a dream to become a successful business owner and being nieve thinking that people just couldn't be as dishonet as these people are I continued to try to hang in there hoping that things would get better. Well let me tell you this. It doesn't not with this company. I don't know how these other companies do business with Getestore and partner with them knowing how these people run their business. It seems every time I have ever had a purchase at my store Getestore claims that there was fraud involved from the customer or a chargeback because the customer returned the product as so they say. The only time it seems that it was not a fraudulant purchase was when I made the purchase myself. This is the reason why I had to get an attorney to look in to this matter which is still ongoing. I was told that there is a buzz in the wind of a possible CLASS ACTION SUIT against this company. What all you store owners need to do is contact you an Attorney and get them involved and flood Getestore with calls from your attorneys and maybe something can be done about them stealing our sales. I don't know if you no this or not but you may jor may not notice that in your stat pages there sometimes your customers are redirected to getestore checkout instead of your own sometimes. I had to find this out from a monitoring company and a company that I hired to review my site. I am telling you something big is going to happen with GETESTORE so guys you had better jump on the band wagon and get on the phone with someone to get some legal advice. I was told by the Better Business Bureau to contact your Attorney General and report these matters and make sure you report this to the Better Business Bureau, the more documentation they have of what is going on when the time comes the better. Also make sure you report the matter to Consumer Affairs. I have been a business owner for many years not just with GETESTORE. We storeowners have more rights than you know. Keep calling Getestore customer service let them know you are consulting legal advice put the scare in them maybe together we can get this company to jump start to trying to be true, HONEST,
Americans like the rest of us.
I wish you all luck, success and many blessings for the New Year! Keep me posted on your actions and reviews.
Hi, This post is very informative, however I would like some specific information. If someone can help me then please send me a private message. Best Regards,
Any of these sites selling cookie-cutter stores with preloaded products will not work well for most people. What is to differentiate you from the 1000s of others with the same stores? Nothing.
What will make your store more search engine visible than theirs? Nothing.
What will make you site more competitive? Nothing.
All they are is get-rich farms for the store promoters themselves. The ones selling you the out-of-the-box solution are the ones making the money.
I purchased (skeptically) about a 1 1/2 years ago. It wasn't until AFTER I purchased the store that O found out that their RETAIL prices were inflated by a minimum of 15% over what you could purchase any given product for at Wal-Mart or Target. I was able to contact an admin via a real phone number, after several failed attepts, explaining my concern about pricing. I also came to notice that well over 80% of the items so-called wholesale prices were above and beyond retail pricing by an average margin of 3%-11%! How does a company legally call itself a "wholesale distributor" when the "wholesale" prices are above retail. I tested the site by purchasing a very inexpensive product, and I did receive it in less than 10 days, and I also got my credit for the $2.00 profit at the 15% margin I had initiated at setup (you can set your own profit margin percentages during the store setup). I was absolutely appalled by the advertising deception as they DO NOT show you an actual wholesale price matrix until after you purchased the site. It is a total scam, and they should be shut down and fined, and be forced by law it issue refunds, but I am sure there are loopholes protcting them as they are still operating. I was able to call via phone their so-called "support" personel and conveyed my disatisfaction about the pricing. I had over 1500 hits to the site the first month, spent over 500 adverting on google adwords...and made not one single sale except the purchase I made to test the site. DO NOT invest with this company as it may not be a true "scam" in te legal sense of the word, but you cannot, and WILL NOT make money unless you get a real stupid sucker who does not care about how much money he/she spends on any given item. Whe I called and spoke to support, I demanded a refund and was told "well you should have done your research, it's not or fauly you are naive and stupid"...then I heard laughing in the background. What a shame as the concept was great and the ease of use was great and the site was professionally laid out....too bad it's legal "scam". After all this hapened I started to esearch other products, and a large percentage are "reconditioned". Not too many people, including myself, like to purchase remanned items, except auto parts but that's different.
Buyer beware. I can't evn get my $2.00 profit back because they only send a check after you accumulate $25.00 I believe.

There's no such thing as a free lunch. It breaks my heart to see all these people getting ripped off by these 100% hype solutions. If you want to run a store, dig in and do it yourself from scratch. If you just don't have the skillz either partner with an individual you trust unconditionally or run an eBay store.
</nutshell>
It's also amusing to see the 1 poster jabs tossed in like greatwebmart above "i love this solution, they answer my calls". Someone should verify that or delete it just to make sure nobody else gets scammed by these crooks.
