I agree with LSV2008. LinkedIn is more professional and have complete mature effective upon the business while on the other hand Facebook is a little more lively and personal. No doubt we can use facebook for business prospective yet the impact is as i mentioned above.
Regards
LinkedIn seems more professional in doing business than facebook does.
ppl prefer LinkedIn for business, but choose facebook for social relationships.
but I think if facebook can be used in Internet marketing,it'll be more effective than LinkedIn.
Targeted for different audiences - Linkedin is for professionals (not teens.kids,retirees). FB on the other hand has a more global audience.
I think both these social sites have difference.
Facebook is very good for friends & family to have fun. While LinkedIn is good for businesses & entrepreneurs.Twitter is also goof for showbiz & business.
yup, facebook is more social for making friends.and many ppl use its fan page for site promotion.I don't know if this will help.LinkedIn is more professional for business than facebook.
if you prefer doing business,LinkedIn is a better choice.
I like facebook. I have around 2500 friends. Its a great social networking site this is really helpful to promote a website.
Yes, social media is not to promote business of big products.
Facebook is a toy when Linkedin at least makes some effort at being a professional resource so it's a bit like comparison apples as well as oranges.
depends on your industry. For finance go LinkedIn. For Entertainment go Facebook. For IT go Twitter...
I go for Facebook. It will surely boost business popularity. Plus, almost 90% of internet users nowadays have their facebook accounts. With Facebook, you will be able to reach worldwide audiences.
I used both networks in marketing myself. IMHO, the key is your target market. Say for example your business is more of a consumer product - say sunglasses - then FaceBook is the way to go no doubt. However, if you offer something more targeted to a specific profession or business, then LinkdIn could do you good.
I think it won't be fair to compare these two networks, as they both were created for entirely separate purposes. LinkedIn is totally professional and is known to be very effective in terms of increasing one's professional contact and number of opportunities. On the other hand Facebook help build a strong social profile, it's user friendly nature helps in using Facebook to market and promote small businesses as well. Both the social networks have their own professional and social aspects. In my opinion, maintaining both of these for one's networking is worth it.
I think Linkedin is more better then the Face book,Because from linkedin we got lots of client as well as new business.
Face book is a social networking website, its not a purely business website.
