The neat thing about facebook ads are they can be super targeted. If you sell ABC Juice you can target ONLY users with ABC Juice in their likes section. Same thing goes for key demographics. It just all depends what your product is.
I ran a small test campaign and from what I remember the bounce rate was rather high thus the campaign being noneffective. But really, you just have to try it. But take it slow. Dont' blow all your money on a few days worth of ads, stretch it out so you can experiment with different approaches. But I guess that goes with any PPC setup.
Facebook allows you to include an image with each ad that you create. Try testing ads with different images to find out which graphics help you get the highest click through rate, and then follow corresponding testing with the text.
PPC never worked for my translation sites. In fact, I never click on those types of ads.

I am regular facebook user but never try Add option. this post is very nice and some unique info to me.
Face book ads are rubbish as no one ever goes on Facebook to actually buy anything so thats not very effective. However, it is effective with targeting a specific audience to like your page and also its cheaper than Google's ad system
