Hi guys I familiar with a few back link getting strategies, one of which includes posting to forums.
Any of you guys have perhaps a list of good forums to join/post in?
The best startegy for backlinks, in my opinion, is simply to ask.
start a contest and make sure it gets listed on all the contest websites.

Posting back links is a way of promoting your website. You can leave links in social bookmarking sites such as Digg.com. These sites also sometimes employ a ranking system - which is evaluated by human beings instead of search engine bots. A site which has informative and relevant content would most likely rank high. There is the possibility of online business owners engaging in shady agreements about 'voting' for each other, in total disregard of the content-must-be-useful rule, but that is another story. You can also leave comments (and a back link) on an authority blog (if it is permitted). You can visit forums in your niche and post informative stuff. People tend to take attention when someone knowledgeable speaks, so that could work. Only, make sure that you let them know that in case they want to know more, they can visit your website and... You know the drill.
Just start social media marketing its help you to get tons of traffic. social media websites like digg, twitter, stumbleupon, facebook etc.
Use networking site and build good networks, make friends, communicate with them and be a regular user of networking site like facebook, in facebook you can create fan page of your business that also best way to promote your business and get traffic.
I do have the same problem about my website. I think everyone know that the site should do SEO, but how? what the detail? Can recommend some websites to the SEO.
